                The 2009 racing season has been up and down as far as the racing has been going. At the end of the 2008 racing season the team sold all of their slingshot equipment. Hoping to get a ride in someone else's car Matt started looking for rides. With nothing opening up the team sat in the stands most of the year. In June Matt pulled the helmet bag and suit back out, he ran a SpeedSTR race at Big Diamond and came out with a top ten finish. But that was a one time deal. After talking to a few friends Matt landed a ride in the Orashin Motorsports #10 for the whole month of June. The car was fast and Matt was able to get a few heat wins, a feature win and some great finishes. But once the month of June ended so did the racing. Until the month of August. Matt was contacted by a friend and asked to run his #09 Xcel Chassis 600cc Modified at Mahoning Valley Speedway. They worked so well as a team that the car owner was interested in Matt running a few more shows this season and possibly racing for the points championship next season. We are hoping to get Matt back on the track full time, and this 600 Modified might be the opportunity we have been looking for.

            In the mean time Matt is still looking for rides. He adapts very quickly to different tracks, surfaces, and series. And could put your car in victor lane.
